Joe Bendik moved from Western PA to NYC in '86 with his band "Folk You" and soon gravitated to the Antifolk scene. As one of the earliest practitioners of Antifolk, Bendik played gigs with Lach, The Moldy Peaches, Jeffrey Lewis, Beck, John S. Hall Missile, Michelle Shocked & Paleface; sharing a sensibility and sense of community not heard from since NYC's mid 70's punk hey-day. Buy Joe Bendik's CD Click Here |
