Wow,
the last week of September saw some major movement as Lisa Bianco (Red
Jacket) and David Cronenberg's Wife zoomed from behind during the last
week to knock Jeff Lewis and Kimya Dawson out of the top five artist pages.
Langhorne Slim rode the wave of a new release and tour (why not order
his debut album Slim Pickens from the Buy Page while yr here.)
to over 400 visits to claim the most popular artist of the month title.
Lotsa interest in The Blend as they played a month-long residency at Sidewalk.

The
Artstars Compilation dominated sales this month. Artstars was produced
by Brief View of The Hudson who are in this week's NYPress as Best Duo
of The Year (or somesuch thing, congrats BVOTH). Rick Shapiro's upcoming
HBO debut is resparking interest in his classic x-rated comedy album Unconditional
Love. Lach's recent NYC gigs have prompted a new wave of orders both
from our Store and downloads from I-Tunes. Dan Fishback stayed in the
charts this month as well.
